What to eat in Frascati? While visiting the city of Frascati, you certainly cannot forget to have a nice gastronomic experience in one of the many pleasantly “free-range” wineries in the town.
Here you can taste the famous porchetta, cold cuts and cheeses of different types, olives of different varieties, as well as abundant bruschetta accompanied by jugs of fresh and young white wine that goes down which is a beauty.
If you want to make a quicker meal, then choose to buy a sandwich with porchetta in one of the stalls located near the market square, or you can decide to eat in a typical fraschetta (traditionally, in ancient times , only served porchetta and wine).
Among the various, we recommend the Hosteria San Rocco also frequented by locals who call it “da Trinco” which serves traditional Roman dishes such as spaghetti alla gricia or saltimbocca as well as a variety of succulent appetizers.
