Levico Terme is a city in the Dolomites, in the Province of Trento about 30 km from Trento. Its mild climate, snow-capped mountains and DOCG red wine are just a few reasons to visit. It is a very touristic place both in winter and in summer thanks to its thermal baths and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it.

The 7 reasons to visit Levico Terme

Levico Terme is a spa resort at the foot of Monte Baldo. The town offers numerous services for wellness and body care, but not only: Levico Terme is a place rich in history and traditions, with a breathtaking landscape.

Here are the 7 reasons to visit this splendid location:

  1. Historic baths: built in 1892, they are among the oldest in Italy and have recently been restored. The Parco delle Terme di Levico is the most important historical park in the Province of Trento and was created in the early 1900s based on a project by the German landscaper-gardener Georg Ziehl (1873-1953), when Levico Terme, a well-known spa, was a favorite destination holidays of the Austro-Hungarian nobility who appreciated the benefit of the ferruginous arsenic mineral waters that still flow upstream of the city of Levico Terme. 5. Adamello Brenta Natural Park: a paradise for nature lovers, with paths that wind through woods and lakes. The Adamello Brenta natural park is a protected natural area established in 1967 and is the largest protected area in Trentino. (More)
  6. The very interesting MUSE the Science Museum and the church of the Santissimo Redentore, a true architectural jewel.
  7. Local gastronomy based on fresh and genuine products of the Valley and the fine wines produced in the area
