The hot Bottaccio lake, better known as Calidario is located inside the Venturina Thermal Park. This park is located in a fraction of Campiglia Marittima, in the province of Livorno. It is in the heart of the renowned tourist area known under the pseudonym of “Etruscan coast” . This territory is only a few kilometers away from the Tyrrhenian Sea, from the Gulf of Follonica and from the other seaside resorts overlooking the Island of Elba.
Where is the Calidarium located?
The Venturina Thermal Park extends in an area where the thermal springs are very rich and abundant and famous since ancient times, among these the Fossa Calda stream, emissary of the Bottaccio hot lake. The park is completed by many services. As well as living quarters, well-being and spa treatments, both affiliated and not, and well-being and beauty treatments.
On the banks of the Calidario lake also the characteristic little church of Santa Lucia and in the immediate vicinity also the historic Hotel Terme di Caldana, dating back to 1904 with the name of Bagni Caterina.

How much does the entrance to the spa cost?
The adult day ticket for the natural spring costs € 24.00, for a half day, however, € 17.00.
