What to visit near Rome? A few kilometers from Rome, in the province of Frosinone, in Lazio, we suggest you visit the small town of Isola del Liri. It is a very well-kept town where the main attraction is undoubtedly the large waterfall (also called “Cascata Grande”) which, after a drop of about 27 meters, flows with an irrepressible beauty and force right in the town center among shops , bars and cafes.
The Cascata Grande of Isola del Liri is considered to be the only case in Italy in which a waterfall flows in a city center and in the world there are very few with this particularity. Isola del Liri knows how to give emotions to the many tourists and onlookers who decide to spend a day or a weekend in this place, certainly one of the jewels of Lazio to visit.
