Toscana

- Montalcino – This medieval city is located in a wine area famous for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. You will be able to taste delicious local delicacies and visit its castles, churches and museums.
- Pienza – This village is known for its Renaissance architecture and for its pecorino cheese. You will be able to admire the Palazzo Piccolomini, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside.
- Cortona – Situated on the hill above the Val di Chiana, Cortona is a medieval town full of history and culture. You will be able to visit the Museum of the Etruscan Academy and the Palazzo Comunale and stroll through its cobbled streets.
The best months to visit these villages are spring and autumn, when the climate is mild and the days are longer. In spring, you can enjoy the beauty of the countryside in bloom, while in autumn the colors of nature become very intense. However, summer is a very busy season in Tuscany, so if you want to avoid the crowds, you might consider visiting these villages in spring or autumn.

Lazio is an Italian region full of ancient villages, each with its own history and charm. Here are some of the most beautiful villages and why they are worth a visit:
- Civita di Bagnoregio: This village, located on a hill in the province of Viterbo, is famous for its beauty and panoramic position. It can only be reached via a pedestrian bridge and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

- Sermoneta: This village, located in the province of Latina, is famous for its castle and towers, as well as for its ancient streets and architecture. It is an ideal place to discover the medieval history of Lazio and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
- Anagni: This village, located in the province of Frosinone, is famous for its cathedral and its town hall, both rich in art and history. It is also famous for being the birthplace of Pope Boniface VIII.
- Subiaco: This village, located in the province of Rome, is famous for its monastery of San Benedetto and for the Grotta di San Benedetto, where the saint lived as a hermit. It is an ideal place to discover the spirituality and history of Christianity.
