It is a town belonging to the Valsangro mountain community, rich in history and traditions, nestled in wonders landscapes and pristine places. Montazzoli as we can visit it today originated around a tower built between the ninth and twelfth centuries, just during the time when a branch of Tratturo (sheep track) that came from Civita del Conte to the Masseria Baronessa came here.
