The Appia Antica Archaeological Park is an archaeological park in Italy established in 2016 by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and for Tourism in order to protect and enhance the vast archaeological area centered on the ancient Appian Way in its development from the Aurelian Walls of Rome up to the locality of Frattocchie in the municipality of Marino, corresponding to the ancient Bovillae.
The following monuments, sites and complexes of the state property are attributed to the Archaeological Park:
- State section of the Via Appia Antica (therefore from number 195 onwards) up to the municipality of Marino,
- Acquedotti dell’Acqua Claudia, Acqua Marcia e Anio Novus,
- Acquedotto dei Quintili,
- Antiquarium di Lucrezia Romana,
- Chiesa di San Cesareo de Appia,
- Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella,
- Tombe della via Latina,
- Villa dei Quintili e Santa Maria Nova,
- Villa dei Sette Bassi,
- Villa di Capo di Bove.
