The Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia is located in the city of Baia, in the Campania region of Italy. This archaeological park is one of the largest marine archaeological areas in the world, and includes a wide range of ancient Roman bath structures.

The baths of Baia were built between the 1st century BC. and the 4th century AD. and they were among the largest and most luxurious baths of ancient Rome. They were built on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, near the city of Naples, and include many facilities, including swimming pools, baths, massage rooms, saunas and gardens.

In the archaeological park, it is possible to admire the remains of many of these structures. These include the “Piscina Mirabilis”, a huge underground tank that collected fresh water, and the “Grandi Terme”, a vast thermal area with swimming pools, gardens and relaxation rooms. The park also offers guided tours for visitors, where expert archaeologists provide information and insights into the ancient structures and their history.

Furthermore, the Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia is located in a panoramic position overlooking the sea, offering visitors a breathtaking view of the coast of the Gulf of Naples.

In summary, if you are interested in the history of ancient Rome and enjoy visiting archaeological sites, the Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia is a must-see when visiting the Campania region of Italy.
