Even before the inauguration of the spa in 1877, Riolo was a small town nestled in the hills between Imola and Faenza which, due to the renowned healing power of its waters already known in the Renaissance era, attracted illustrious personalities such as Lord Byron, Pellegrino Artusi and Giosuè Carducci.
Currently the Terme di Riolo looks like a spa complex located in the wonderful scenery of a centuries-old park and has two accommodation facilities (one 4-star and the other 3-star) that will allow you to spend some vacation days between relaxation and health care.
The Riolo spa is chosen for the therapeutic power of the waters and muds that are useful for both adults and children. The waters, called Breta, Margherita and Vittoria, are really the strong point of the Terme di Riolo, together with the spring muds. For more information you can consult this link.
