The Big Bench of Civenna is a large bench located on the hill of Monte Crocione, in the municipality of Civenna, in the province of Como, Lombardy, Italy.
The Big Bench was created in 2010 by the local artist Chris Bangle in collaboration with the cultural association “Arte Sella”, and has become one of the main attractions in the area. The bench has a length of 10 meters and can accommodate up to 15 people at the same time.
The peculiarity of the Big Bench of Civenna is its panoramic position, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Indeed, the bench is located in an elevated position on the hill, surrounded by green fields and thick vegetation.
The Big Bench of Civenna has become a very popular place among tourists and hikers who visit the area, and is often used as a reference point for excursions and walks in the surrounding nature. Additionally, the bench has been the subject of numerous photo shoots and selfies, becoming a symbol of the beauty and serenity of the area.
