Forglieta is truly a special place, it is located near Arpino, in the province of Frosinone. It is a ghost town where you can feel out of time. The first settlements in the area date back to the 6th century before Christ. Lost in the countryside, Forglieta is one of the hamlets that make up the municipality of Arpino (famous for being the birthplace of Marco Tullio Cicerone). It began to empty from the 1970s, when the inhabitants moved to other larger and better served centres. Many still remember it: here was an elementary school that brought together children from the nearby countryside, and its closure, about forty years ago, decreed the end of the district.
