We arrived on Lake Fiastra which is an artificial lake which is located within the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini in the Marche region. Lake Fiastra is a renowned tourist resort both for its crystal clear waters and for the context of uncontaminated nature that surrounds it.
During the summer and spring seasons, Lake Fiastra is visited by many people from the Marche region, but also tourists from outside the region, who relax on its shores, get a little tan and practice water sports on its waters, or dedicate themselves a sport fishing. Starting from this place it is possible to go trekking on breathtaking views of the lake.
In the immediate vicinity, there is the village of Fiastra and here we recommend visiting the church of San Paolo which is located on a promontory which allows a beautiful and special view of the underlying lake which often takes on colors ranging from turquoise to emerald.
Other locations that can be reached from the lake are the peaks of Berro and Priora, the path that leads to Lame Rosse, a visit to the Fiastrone Gorge and the Grotta dei Frati.
