The Pescara river springs are a series of springs located in the Apennine region, in the territory of Popoli, in the province of Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy. The Pescara river is about 150 kilometers long and originates from Monte Morrone, a mountain about 2,000 meters high.

The sources of the Pescara river are a very suggestive natural spectacle, characterized by a series of waterfalls and crystalline pools of cold and clear water. These springs are a popular destination for hikers and tourists who want to enjoy the beautiful nature.

Furthermore, the sources of the Pescara river are important for the region, as they supply drinking water and are used for the production of hydroelectric energy. The Pescara river is also an important habitat for fish fauna, including trout, chub and tench.

In summary, it is a place of great natural beauty and of great importance for the region, both from a tourist and environmental point of view.
