The Lake Penne Regional Nature Reserve is located in the Abruzzo region, in the province of Pescara. It was established in 1987 to protect and conserve the natural habitat of Lake Penne and the surrounding areas.
Lake Penne is an artificial lake that was formed following the construction of a dam on the Tavo river.
