The Riva Waterfalls are another beautiful tourist attraction located in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, also in the Italian Alps. To reach the Riva waterfalls, you can also take the Dolomiti train, which leaves from the Trento station and arrives at the Mezzocorona station, from where you can take a bus to reach the waterfalls.
The Riva waterfalls are made up of three main waterfalls, with heights ranging from 20 to 90 metres. The surrounding landscape is characterized by thick vegetation and limestone rocks that create a suggestive atmosphere.
When is the best time to visit the Riva Waterfalls?
The best time to visit these waterfalls depends on your preferences. In summer, from the end of May to the end of September, you can enjoy the warm, sunny weather and the beauty of the lush greenery. In winter, however, you can enjoy the unique spectacle of frozen waterfalls and the snowy landscape.
However, it is important to keep in mind that access is regulated and can be closed in case of bad weather or for safety reasons, so it is advisable to check the dates and the weather conditions before planning your visit.
