Nazzano is a small village located in the province of Rome, in the Lazio region. The town is located on the left bank of the Tiber river, at the foot of Monte Soratte, and is part of the municipality of Torrita Tiberina.
Nazzano is an ancient village that still retains many traces of its historical and artistic past. Among the most important monuments of the town, we can mention the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the medieval tower, the town hall and the bridge over the river Tiber.
The village is also famous for the Nazzano Tevere-Farfa nature reserve, which is located nearby and offers many opportunities for excursions and outdoor activities.
Nazzano is an ideal place for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The village offers an authentic and genuine atmosphere, with its stone houses, narrow streets and breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.
Furthermore, Nazzano is an excellent base for visiting other places of interest in the area, such as the Farfa abbey, the Torrita Tiberina castle and the city of Rome, which is about an hour’s drive away.
