In this short guide you will know how to visit the Leonardo Museum in Vinci (FI). The Leonardo museum itinerary includes the Leonardo Museum and Leonardo’s Birthplace and is divided into several exhibition venues located a short distance from each other. The ticket office is located in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci n. 26, overlooking one of the main access roads to the historic center and easily accessible for visitors.
The first rooms are set up in the Palazzina Uzielli which is accessed by crossing the scenic Piazza dei Guidi, an urban space reconfigured by the artist Mimmo Paladino and inspired by Leonardo’s studies. The remaining exhibition sections of the Museum are instead housed in the evocative rooms of the Castello dei Conti Guidi, the medieval building symbol of the city of Vinci and the historic seat of the collection.
The “Leonardo and Painting” section about a kilometer and a half outside the village, Leonardo’s Birthplace, on the other hand, is 3 kilometers away, still on the same road and it is possible to reach it comfortably by car or along a path that starts from the historic center of Vinci.
