Some brief information on Porchetta di Campli
It is a gastronomic specialty of the Italian region of Abruzzo, in particular of the city of Campli. The preparation is based on pork, usually loin or shoulder, stuffed with garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper and then roasted. It is very flavourful and tasty, and is usually served as a main course accompanied by vegetables or bread. It is also common to find it in the form of a sandwich accompanied by a salad. This porchetta is one of the most famous gastronomic specialties of Abruzzo and an example of traditional Italian cuisine.
