How much does it cost to enter the Stiffe Caves?
The cost of the ticket is:
- full price for adults: 12 Euros.
- reduced: 10 Euros for children aged 6 to 14, Over 70, University students
- free for children under 6 years of age, handicapped people including carer, 100% disabled people including carer, residents in the municipality of San Demetrio ne’ Vestini
How to book the Stiffe Caves?
In order to visit the Stiffe Caves, reservations are required and can be made by phone (call 333/785 1582), or you can book directly on the website www.visitsandemetrio.it, in this case you can also proceed with the purchase of the ticket .
At what times is it possible to visit?
During the summer period (April 1st – October 15th) the visit is possible from 10.00 to 18.00 (ticket office closes at 17.45 with last admission at 18.00)
During the winter period (16 October – 31 March): the visit is possible from 10.00 to 17.00 (ticket office closes at 16.45 with last admission at 17.00)
How long does the visit inside the Stiffe Caves last?
The visit to the whole of the caves is always a guided tour which lasts approximately 1 hour.
What is the recommended clothing to access the Caves?
We recommend dressing in comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes with non-slip soles (preferably trekking shoes). Reminding you that the temperature inside the caves is 10 degrees, constant all year round, we also recommend a sweatshirt or jacket.
