San Vittorino represents a fascinating village which is an integral part of the municipality of Rome. It borders Tivoli to the north and Zagarolo to the south. From this point of view, the idea of a trip to the San Vittorino waterfalls proves to be an excellent opportunity to spend a day immersed in nature.
How to reach the San Vittorino waterfalls
To reach the waterfalls, from the town it is necessary to take Via di San Vittorino at the exit sign from the town. At that point, there is a red gate, which is padlocked and is next to a bar. Passing the bar, you enter the path and proceed on foot for about a kilometer (about 10 minutes).
Where to park in San Vittorino?
There are several options:
- Inside the village square, a small clearing adjacent to the castle. This little square is easily identifiable, considering that San Vittorino is a very modest place.
- In the parking lot located along the road adjacent to the bar in the square.
- In the narrow street just outside the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima (recognizable from the photo below).
- In the parking lot of the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, which closes at 20:00 and is of considerable size.
