In this short article we give you some advices on where to park when you visit the wonderful Punta Penna beach in Vasto.

We will tell you how to access the beach without risking a fine for no parking or parking not allowed.

First of all, we tell you that access to the Punta Penna beach can take place through two points: from below, on the port of Vasto side and from above, on the industrial area side.

By car

If you arrive by car, you can park in a free and dedicated car park in the artisan area (access from the top), but we tell you that the available places are filled up quickly, from here you will have to take a downhill path of about 200 meters that takes you to beach.

On the port side (access from below) you can park inside the white stripes along the road that leads into the port. From here you will have to walk about 300 meters until you reach the beach. Remember that all parking spaces that are not in order may be sanctioned.

By scooter / motorcycle

By scooter or motorbike we recommend that you access the beach on the port side, since with the two-wheeled vehicle you can get even closer to the beach and use some free parking spaces dedicated to motorcycles. From these the beach will be only a hundred meters away.

By bicycle / electric bike / scooter

Using both normal and electric bicycles or scooters, you can practically get to the beach and park the vehicle on the stalls located right next to the entrance.

By bus

The bus stop that comes from the city of Vasto is located in the immediate vicinity of the port side entrance. From the stop you will have to walk about 300 meters to get to the beach.

Conclusion

Given the type of beach that is located in a nature reserve and given the huge influx of tourists during the summer season, we strongly recommend that you avoid the use of cars for the benefit of vehicles such as bicycles, electric vehicles, scooters and buses.
